slacking off

Yesterday, we spent a day slacking off from studying. Bleh. In other words, we were feeling really malas. Malas to bukak buku, malas to baca notes, malas to write notes.

Plain MALAS.

So, what did we do instead? The only thing we know how to do best.. Window shopping! =D hahahaha.

Started off in Paddo (short for Paddington) itself where we found this cute lil store, Bittersweet Country. Adorable little store stocked up with country style home decor from carved wooden signposts, to hand-painted matching teapot sets, to worn-out 'welcome' floor mats.

Signs we might consider getting for the house...

And the best part of the store? The Christmas decors!!
IN MID MAY!!!
How awesome is that?!? We went all nostalgic when we saw 'em. Aww..
"Chestnuts roasting on an open fire..."

Moved on to the City, spotted this donut dress in Myer's.
Bet anyone wearing this would look drop dead gorgeous to Homer Simpson (the signature Homer drooling included). "Mmm..donuts..."

And at the pet store? We found this lil guy. Not sure if this came outta some government experiment gone wrong, but damnit it doesn't look right! They call it a 'walking fish'. Yep. With LEGS!! Would make a cool pet tho. But we've already got a handful what with the possum and Munks and all.. so yea, hafta skip on it for now. Oh well...

You know how boys are with their toys? Well, when we got to the WOW store in Annerley, kinda got myself into abit of a dilemma. Couldn't decide on which toy to get for the munkie, the unz unz DJ wannabe. Sigh.

So, I left the store feeling torn between THIS DJ-Tech Pro set turntable thingy whatever-you-call-it...

OR THIS Radical Rhythms Music Composer...
They BOTH have really good features and all, so it's gonna be hard to deliberate between the two.. decisions decisions..

And if all fails, the girls suggested I get him a new ride instead..

And then there was two again, whether to get the green macho jeep OR the red sexy convertible.. decisions decisions...
Damnit. Shopping was never meant to be this hard!

And for a good end to a good stress-free day, we headed up Mount Cootha to catch the night view of the city.. and yes, here's another manchur (macho tapi hancur) gambar of the girls tryn to keep warm wt a smoke.
