We might be a little outdated with the current movie screenings in Kuching (and by this, I meant outdated in the latest pirated DVD sales) but we managed to get hold of a copy of a famed documentary film called The Secret. Apparently, its been known to be around for ages, until a certain Rhonda Byrne decided to pen it down into a book.

we meant The Secret as in THIS secret by Rhonda...

...and not THIS secret by Victoria...

What the book/film was trying to tell us was that, ANYONE could get ANYTHING they wanted if they lived life by the Laws of Attraction. Whether you believe it or not, the laws of attraction work in so many ways without you even realizing it. This is the official synopsis we got off the official website for the film and book:

Towards the end of the film, they mentioned something about having your own 'vision board' where you posted up cut outs of anything you wanted to achieve or have in your life. Bags, shoes, cars, fancy home, ANYTHING. They believed that when you want something bad enough and you think about it all the time, you will give out this positive vibe into the universe, and well.. according to the Laws of Attraction, the universe WILL respond to it and inevitably give you what you desire most. Don't exactly know HOW that'll work out, but its been known to work any other ways.

SO... being the gullible monkeys that we are, (monkey see monkey do, right? HAHA.) we spent an hour flipping thru mags and tore out pictures of what WE wanted in life. And this was what we came up with...

Well ok.. they're not exactly completed yet, but this was what we got SO FAR... and oh, since our finals were also looming just around the bloody corner, we thought we'd give a go with it too. The mirror wall in our living room became our latest mangsa. Heh.

So, till then... we'll leave it at that and see if this theory will work out our way =P And if any of us wins a new car, or a trip to Spain or anything like that, you'll know that the theory has been proven right...
